To date, the Anusuya Ray Memorial Scholarship has successfully empowered more than fifty students. Launched initially in 2014 by funding 5 meritorious female students from Begum Rokeya School, the foundation scaled systematically. In 2016, we expanded to provide critical funding for Higher Secondary graduates entering colleges—exemplified by our first higher education recipient, Purna Maji, the daughter of a vegetable vendor from the Sundarbans. Each candidate is carefully screened, followed by personal telephone consultations with parents to guarantee transparent fund management.
